SMSR has worked for a wide variety of primary and secondary care organisations. This has included a review of Urgent Care services, a major health and lifestyle study and a related qualitative study on primary care issues. We also run a citizens’ panel for PCT’s.

Experience

DoH Consortia Engagement Support Funding

We are about to commence a project with Bolton PCT for this DoH pilot GP consortia support programme focussed on urgent care. It will consist of qualitative and quantitative research with both members of the general public and user of urgent care services. In addition we will set up a patient/general public panel that will be a resource for future consultation and engagement activities.

Education

In the field of education and training, SMSR has worked in a number of service provision areas. In addition to project evaluation work in the FE Sector and survey work with Connexions and schools services the company has also undertaken a wide range of consultations for the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority and NAA including the annual national review of Key Stage Testing.
