SMSR Quality Policy

SMSR is a growing market and social research company which aims to achieve sustained, profit able growth by providing services that consistently satisfy the needs and expectations of its clients. The company is dedicated to reaching this goal in its relationships with employers, staff, associated, partners, suppliers and the general public who take part in SMSR projects.

The basis for the SMSR approach is the introduction of a formal quality management system managed by a Quality Manager who has direct responsibility for the system and associated improvements.

Achievement of this policy involves all staff who are individually responsible for the standard of their own work and collectively responsible for the success of the quality system which results in a continually improved work environment for everyone. A training and development programme is in place and SMSR is a member of several professional groups that look at new developments and initiatives in the market research sector in order to maintain its position in the market place.

The Objectives of the Quality System are to:

1) Maintain an effective quality assurance system that complies with the   standards set by BS ISO 20252:2006, Customer First, Investors in People and the Market Research Society.

2) Achieve and maintain a high level of quality service which enhances the Company’s reputation with its clients

3) Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and safety standards and any additional quality mark that may be appropriate for its services

4) Maximise customer satisfaction in all areas of the company’s services.

These objectives are attained through the use of procedures that cover the key fields of project management, data collection and data analysis. Quality and service issues are raised at weekly project meetings and monthly management meetings as well quarterly quality review meetings. Information about these including minutes is circulated to all staff and is also available on company’s network.

An audit programme is in place to review procedures on a regular basis whilst a formal system of feed back and follow up with clients has been introduced in order to ensure that the service offered by SMSR is to the required standard.
