SMSR Quality Systems Manual Summary
The SMSR Quality Systems Manual contains procedures which staff use on a daily basis to undertake the various tasks involved in market research projects. Although not covered directly by the BS ISO 20252:2006 standard, SMSR possesses procedures for its financial, marketing some administrative work which impact on the performance of the company as a whole.
Procedures are centred on the three main areas of the standard as follows
1. Project management:
- Responding to client enquiries and tenders
- Identifying client requirements and the most suitable solution
- Initiating the project including project briefings for staff and clients
- Managing the project and liaising with clients
- Reporting the outcomes to clients
2. Data Collection
- Managing the recruitment and training of fieldworkers
- Conducting the collection data
- Managing access panels and focus groups
- Validating the processes of data collection
3. Data Analysis
- Managing hard copy and electronic data entry
- Managing data files
- Validating the analysis processes
- Maintaining appropriate records
In addition the following areas are also included
4. Quality Operations and Review
- Manage the Quality System including regular review meetings
- Maintain and audit procedures
- Carry out follow up reviews with clients
5. Finance. Administration, Staff Development and Marketing
- Maintain procedures for SMSR’s financial and administrative systems
- Manage SMSR’s training and development processes
- Devise and implement the Company’s Business and Marketing Plans.
