Having been awarded a place on the Police National Framework in January 2011, SMSR has considerable expertise in delivering research services to police authorities and constabularies in the UK.

Being on the Police National Framework has provided SMSR with the oppportunity to undertake on-going user satisfaction and confidence surveys for a wide range of Police forces.  In addition to this, we also recruited and manage a citizens’ panel for Humberside Police Authority consisting of 6,000 residents.  We have undertaken a wide range of ad hoc quantitative surveys and qualitative work for other forces including a postal survey of 25,000 members of the general public on budgeting/police priorities, a staff survey and an Authority wide programme of mystery shopping at community police stations.
