Data Processing

SMSR uses three different data processing methodologies dependant on the type of research undertaken. All our telephone data is automatically transferred from the telephone system into an SPSS database where it is checked and cross checked before the analysis stage of the project.

Any face to face or postal research is scanned through our state of the art scanning software that records all responses that have been answered on the pre-designed questionnaire. We use SNAP Software to setup and record the information scanned.

If necessary we also manually input certain types of questionnaire and we have a dedicated team of data processers who are fully trained in data inputting. They also act as a quality control mechanism when scanning any questionnaires.

All questionnaires are coded using a specific team of project staff who are all well versed in public sector operations and background.
